The Gaza strip is one of the most densely populated places in the world with 2.1 Palestinians living under a 15-year land ,sea and air blockade.Gaza has endured relentless bombardment and significantly intensified blockades to the enclave.

Since the ceasefire began, more than 3,200 aid trucks have entered Gaza, providing partial relief to the suffering population. However, aid continues to be hindered by the devastation caused by Israeli attacks, including the destruction of 70% of Gaza’s roads and water infrastructure. Most of the forcibly displaced Palestinians remain homeless, and only half of Gaza’s 36 hospitals are still partially operational. The damage to infrastructure has left 300,000 people homeless in northern Gaza, where 80% of buildings have been destroyed.
The impact on Gaza’s children is especially harrowing, with nearly 38,500 orphans reported since the beginning of the conflict. Of these, 32,152 children have lost their fathers, 4,417 have lost their mothers, and 1,918 have lost both parents. Additionally, 13,901 women have been widowed. The destruction of families has left a generation of children deeply traumatized and vulnerable.

The cutting of water, food, medical, electricity and gas supplies, as well as telecommunication blackouts have plunged the Strip into famine and unimaginable hardship. Many of the children of Gaza are suffering from acute malnutrition and, while the population is crippled by the challenges of their daily realities, they also endure severe and ongoing trauma

These life-threatening conditions are made even more detrimental by the critical
shortages of water, food, shelter, sanitation, medical assistance, and other
essential resources.
